One half hour per week with a professional teacher. Guitar Teachers:
Dennis Hodges, graduate of Capital University Music
Media specializes in helping kids learn how to play in a band. Plays with "Charlie Buckett" band and for various
musicals. He also regularly performs at his church. Chris Whitney, has been teaching at
Squeo Music since 1999 and attended OSU majoring guitar. He also composes and performs regularly as a single.
He played with "Local Color" for ten years. George Barrie, a recent graduate from
Capital University, has his degree in Music Technology. George performs on a regular basis with "MoJoFlo". Percussion Teachers: Jacob "Jake" Levy,
graduate of Capital University in Percussion, has just started teaching for Squeo Music in September. He performs with
George Barrie in MoJoFlo. He also teaches music theory and piano. Band &
Orchestra Teachers: Mike Wright, has a BA in Music Education from Capital Universtiy and a MS in Education from Waldern University.
He taught at Champion Middle School and currently teaches online Music Theory with TRRECA. Anne
Zavaglia, graduate of OSU, teaches violin, viola, cello and piano. She has been teaching since 1997.
She has performed for weddings and various ensembles and recordings. Audrey Cannestra teaches flute and oboe.
She also teaches voice and piano. See below. Piano Teachers: Jane Beale, co-owner of Squeo Music and graduate of Ohio Dominican
College, taught school for 7 years and has been teaching privately on both piano and guitar for 35 years.
Patti Hughes, co-owner of Squeo Music and graduate
of OSU in Music Ed, taught band and choir in school for 4 years and has been teaching all instruments privately for 35 years. Voice Teachers: George Barrie, member of "MoJoFlo" has his degree in Music Technology from Capital University. He also teaches
guitar. Audrey Lane Cannestra has her bachelor of arts
degree in music from the College of Wooster. She teaches voice, flute, oboe and piano. |
